Elizabeth Velasquez is a Mexican-American actress, model, and radio co-host. Velasquez was born and raised in Wilmington, CA to Mexican parents Rosa Bernal and Pedro Velasquez. Shortly after her mother’s pregnancy Mr. Velasquez decided to separate from his family. Raised by a single mother along with four brothers and two sisters has motivated Elizabeth to do more than the average. After high school, Velasquez continued her education at California State University, Long Beach majoring in education with a concentration in mathematics. While in college, Miss Velasquez traveled through different avenues in search of herself, not knowing all along it was right under her finger tips. Being the social butterfly that she is, Elizabeth was discovered through MySpace by a modeling agency. Only two years in the modeling industry, Miss Velasquez has graced the pages of magazines, music videos, hosting events, and radio co-hosting.
